A mechanized upgrade with hints of deconstructed allure, the Nike Air Force 1 arrives once more as if intending to be unrecognizable. Topping additional layers to many of its structural elements, the pair is taking a few notes out of the book of sacai’s Chitose Abe, pairing strong accent colors to the double-layered motifs made popular through her LDWaffle and Blazer hybrid. Though similar, the mainline creation is still of its own distinct flair. Hits swooshes sit right on top of one another with the underlying check staying flat in its printed variation. Overlays hide contrast tones underneath, adding visual bulk to the toe as well as the eye stay, with extra rear midsole panelling stacked against the edge of the entire heel. Back tabs brand twice fittingly with a two-toned backdrop stacked while base layers stay the only ordinary piece in their simple smooth leathers. Grab a detailed look at the two women’s colorways inbound and expect to see them arriving at select retailers as well as Nike.com soon.
