Nicole McLaughlin And Reebok To Release 17-Piece Upcycled Collection Made Of Vintage Gear

Cut from the cloth of their many vintage pieces, Reebok’s latest collaboration taps upcycling artist Nicole McLaughlin whose passion for design has landed her at the many avant-garde, imaginative, and alluringly comical 1-of-1 pieces. From making ice cube trays into sandals to creating vests out of lawn chairs, the once Reebok intern is now set to show off her love for the brand’s heritage and archive fabrics, giving their many old products new life with a spin imaginative to say the least. Pictured are just some of what’s in store, though expect each to boast the same aggressive ethos and inventive repurposing of the revealed Moc — which takes from a single toggle-enclosed bag and tops it along a trail-ready sole — as well as the side bag constructed out of a classic footwear silhouette. Still days away, the graphic-designer-turned-artisan still has a lot left to show, setting up a total of 17 pieces for raffle this Thursday, September 12th, at the Reebok Union Square location.
