The Nike Air Max 720 Horizon Dawns On A Night-Friendly Colorway

Nike launched quite the versatile platform with the Air Max 720 cushioning unit earlier this year, and it didn’t need much time to spread its wings. Originally debuting with a futuristic vibe and nature-driven colorway concepts, the Air Max 720 has since expanded beyond the confines of everyday-casual sportswear into some truly explorative directions. Although not as bold as ISPA’s armored stance, the new Horizon silhouette is similarly locked into the defense mode as it features Gore-Tex uppers, an exterior cage (which we presume is a nod to the Air Kukini), and a ridged outsole for easier traversing. Thicker elastic bands connect the tongue and the heel, offering easier slip-on capabilities without losing lockdown. Additionally, there’s no denying the comparisons to NASA in regards to the style of the text seen on the tongue and insole, further cementing the space-exploration themes. Already previewed in a triple-black and one with a rainbow-gradient cage, the Air Max 720 Horizon is likely dropping on November 1st.
