The Nike Air Max 1, as exemplified with each new colorway and collaborative tooling, is one of the few chameleon-like silhouettes within the brand roster, doing well to adjust its constructions to animation geniuses such as Laika and artistic masters like Parra. Now, forgoing its own brand heritage, the model is heading down a realm of haberdasheries and the sartorial as it outfits in what is none other than a fine, wool suit. Along the exterior panels lie an extremely textured variation of the warming material, mimicking that of mohair down to its very fiber. Mudguards, however, are quite a bit more ordinary as it opts for a sturdy suede seemingly ripped from a freshly treated pair of oxfords. Underneath, a swathe of houndstooth patterns break up the smooth brown hues, preferring its monochromatic variation of black and white as it pokes through along both the toe box and ankle. Tongues then arrive in an extremely yellowed nylon fabrication, topped with orange branded tabs and a pair of laces that match the same white hue found on the sole unit. Grab a detailed look right here and find it likely rolling out to Nike.com and select retailers soon.
