Elliot Santiago Jumpman’s 30th anniversary celebrations of the Air Jordan 5 continued this month with arguably one of the biggest drops of the 2020 via Off-White’s collaboration, and now they’re aiming to capitalize on its garnered impetus by tossing in another release for the month of February. This time however, the classic silhouette is getting reworked into a new rendition more adaptable for the putting greens. First teased on the feet of professional golfer Pat Perez a few weeks ago, these fairway-appropriate kicks translate the essence of the classic “Fire Red” option – a fitting palette of choice considering the original Nike Air branded version is slated to make a return next month – only now in low-profile format. White leather uppers, red Jumpman logos/midsole spikes, and blacked out midsoles are inherited, leaving the most noticeable difference to arrive within the bottoms that now feature golf spikes secured into its translucent treading.
