You Can Now Make Your Own New Balance 992 Colorway

With the New Balance 992‘s revival came many a release: some adorned with neutrals as per the standard and others simple though alluring as a quick KITH exclusive. And now that devoted fans and newcomers alike have grown accustomed to the silhouette, it’s finally made its way over to the Boston label’s very own customization platform. Dubbed the NB1, the system, as always, affords a great deal of creative flexibility, allowing you to individually color most of the various panels, mesh bases, and soles, with the tonal range varying depending on the selected part. Certain pieces — such as the accenting strips along the toe box or the middling elements of the vamp and eyestay — also allow you to switch up the materials from the classic pig suede to either a more energetic reflective or a contrasting synthetic. Available now at newbalance.com, you can craft whatever combo, homage, or faux collaboration you see fit, each production purchasable at a retail of $190 USD.
