The Nike Cortez Arrives With 90’s Phoenix Suns Alternate Colors

The Nike Cortez Arrives With 90’s Phoenix Suns Alternate Colors

Arguably overshadowed by its basketball counterparts, the Nike Cortez has secured its own spot in the sneaker pantheon through countless versatile colorways and historical, performance-running significance. The former now adds an arrangement semi-resemblant of retro Phoenix Suns alternate uniforms.

Leather uppers on this 1972 silhouette boast the classic “Black/Summit White” scheme that’s become a staple in places like Boyle Heights. This Cortez adds hits of “Laser Orange,” which soon arrives on an SB Dunk Low, across branded tongue tags, sockliners and heel overlays, as well as part of the midsole. Elsewhere, “Vivid Purple” animates “NIKE AIR” text on the insole and the full-length serrated tread underfoot.

Enjoy a closer look at this women’s Cortez here below. And head over to Nike.com right now to secure your pair for $70 USD.
