The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt In Black/White Launches On September 4th

The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt In Black/White Launches On September 4th

With the Nike Dunk Low‘s returning popularity, it’s only fitting it receive the eclectic women’s variants it once did years ago. A spiritual successor to such releases — i.e. the Dunk Sky Hi and sacai’s Dunk Lux — the Dunk Low Disrupt arrives with an aggressive design far, far distinct from the original. And though revealed in a number of colorways, it seems the simple Black/White option will be one of the first to release later this September.

At a glance, the pair does seem to inch quite close to its muse, but with the help of older 80s basketball staples, the silhouette slowly starts to live up to the “distortion” it touted upon its official announcement. 1984’s Air Train is present along very few details, mostly along the toe cap and its perforated accents. Elsewhere, a mesh base is supported by black leather overlays all throughout and a matching oversized swoosh along its profile, while heel tabs finish along the back with equal if not larger scale. Ended with a sculpted sole, the pair effectively tweaks every one of the Dunk’s core components.

Grab a detailed look at these here and sit tight for a Nike.com release later on September 4th.

In other news, a Grape Nike SB Nyjah 2 is on the way.
