Through their Reebok collaborations, Pyer Moss effectively made a name for themselves in sneakers, crafting what has arguably been one of the most forward-thinking set of releases the footwear label has seen in the past few years. But now, after three years in the works, Kerby Jean-Raymond is gradually beginning to separate with the unveiling of his very first standalone silhouette: “The Sculpt.”
Made in tandem with Reebok talent Evan Belforti, the silhouette effectively leans far and away from the conventional, creating a small load of production issues as a result of its oversized and intensely unique tooling. The latter’s shape, which is hued in yellow for louder visual effect, constructs the bottom with a unique taper: the bottom is pronounced in its enlarged and rounded molds while the midsole is composed sleek with chiseled architecture and “Pyer Moss” branding. Above, the upper is more subdued, minimal, as black suede and mesh craft a Chukka-reminiscent design that adorns atop blacked out laces toggles and white contrast stitch.
Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect to find it at select retailers on October 3rd for a retail of $595 USD.
