The Nike Zoom Type For Women Arrives In A Barely Volt Upper

The Nike Zoom Type For Women Arrives In A Barely Volt Upper

From the sacai VaporWaffle to the Off-White Zoom Tempo NEXT%, Nike’s collaborators have found much success in channeling the deconstructed, stripped down, and repurposed aesthetic as they bring in elements of traditional running shoes into a more casual streetwear scene. Nike’s Air Zoom Type proves that the brand can achieve the unfinished look solo, and this scintillating model has arrived in a Barely Volt colorway for women that’s equally sleek and edgy.

The suede uppers are colored in the signature muted neon green, giving the pair a luxe touch. A webbed pattern animates the swoosh printed on the sides to add to the model’s playful look. What stands out the most on the silhouette is the stacked foam midsole, perhaps inspired by the success of the aforementioned Japanese label’s work with super-imposed silhouettes. Delivering style and comfort, the midsole opts for a split-color scheme painted in both Barely Volt and white. To complete the model, a stark black rubber outsole contrasts the muted colors used throughout the sneaker. All these elements come together to construct a model that is both lively yet polished.
