One of the more underrated retro silhouettes out right now is the adidas Response CL, the late-1990s runner that is incrementally gaining steam thanks to some choice collaborations with Copenhagen’s Naked and the globally present Commonwealth. The beauty in the shoe is in its era-defining design, with layered leathers and meshes offering that nostalgic reminder of one of the greatest eras in sneakers. However, for some upcoming in-line models, adidas is introducing a full suede upper in monochromatic brown, sold black outsoles, and hits of reflective silver to achieve that trail boot style. Although these aren’t a dedicated TR variation (the sole is just the standard mold), these could very well be suitable for light trail running.
An official release is scheduled for December 11th for $120; see the official images ahead and stay tuned for a drop on adidas and select shops globally.
