Nike Attaches Recycled Grind Panels To The Waffle One

Nike Attaches Recycled Grind Panels To The Waffle One

Since the debut of Space Hippie, Nike has very effortlessly integrated sustainability into their everyday. Alongside the proliferation of materials like FlyLeather, the brand has turned many of their silhouettes recycled, this signaled by the “Crater” namesake. And soon, follow numerous releases, the Waffle One will join the collection.

All is as usual in form, the look not too dissimilar to sacai’s beloved, collaborative LDWaffle. Suede panels dress the toe and eye stay in black — matching that of the laces, lining, and heel clip — while base proffers a sheer mesh that partially hides a loud, vibrant, all-over print. Elsewhere, the Grind materials begin to layer atop at the tongue, counter, and outsole.

For a closer look at this Earth-conscious release, see the official images below. Sizes should hit select retailers and Nike.com soon.
