solebox Celebrates adidas Equipment’s 30th Anniversary With Never-Before-Released Prototype

adidas Equipment is pulling out all the stops for their 30th anniversary. Alongside a 4D-outfitted Predator Accelerator, the line-up is producing many an accompanying silhouette, each aided by the expertise of brand partners. Here, solebox is revealing their part: a racing-inspired interpretation of an unreleased prototype.

Originally dubbed the “Racer,” the model is effectively the Three Stripes’ concept car. The aforementioned retailer is appropriately careful with its design, lensing its uppers only through appropriate themes. With its see-through, grid-patterned base and yellowed overlays, the colorway and construction celebrates the vintage gear of Grand Prix racers. Red decals along the heel pull better complement these aesthetics, while the tooling below simply serves a classic EQT tooling.

Enjoy a closer look at the upcoming collaboration here. A release, while currently TBA, is sure to hit both solebox and adidas.com very soon.

In other news, more Jeremy Scott Forum Lows are on the way.
