G-Dragon Teases Upcoming PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Wingtip Shoe

G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE label exploded onto the footwear scene in 2019, bringing with it the South Korean cultural icon’s artwork beneath a black layer of wear-away paint on the Air Force 1. “Para-Noise” has remained rather quiet since the sophomore white/black drop in November of 2020, but the former Big Bang frontman just took to Instagram to provide a sneak peek at what could be his next Nike collaboration.

While the exact name of the silhouette is unknown, it can be best described as a leather brogue sneaker that likely has a golf-inspired design. The wing-tip style is quite common in that sport, while the lace covers further suggest a link to the links. On the heel you can see five divots where spikes typically exist, but are replaced with the PEACEMINUSONE daisy logo. The ever-growing popularity of golf in the peninsula could have played a role in the selection of this silhouette, but regardless of the back-story, we’re certainly intrigued.

No release info have surfaced, although G-Dragon simply captions his photo with “9/1”. More details to come.
