Over the years, Nike Golf has release handfuls of compelling designs for the green. And while some have drawn inspiration from the sport itself, other have looked to the Swoosh’s expansive catalog for their muse. Case in point: A women’s Nike Air Zoom Infinity TR Shield stylized like the Nike ACG Air Mowabb.
Akin to other Nike React-cushioned silhouettes, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a highly-protective arrangement across its upper. The brand’s proprietary foam solution indulges in a speckled makeup that taps into Nike ACG design from the early 1990s. Synthetic construction throughout the shoes’ top-half opt for a “Rattan Birch” look unmistakably associated to the outdoors-ready predecessor, which the upcoming golf shoe builds upon with a weather-proof coasting (hence the “Shield” in the model’s name). “Hyper Royal” and “Bright Mandarin” also appear at their expected positions, while animating exaggerated “AIR ZOOM” branding at the bottom heel, lace toggles and pivot components underneath the forefoot.
Enjoy official images of the pair here below, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch soon.
Elsewhere under the Swoosh umbrella, the LeBron 19 is set to debut before 2021 ends.
