As its 30th anniversary approaches an end, the Saucony Shadow 600 continues to emerge in playful and colorful arrangements. The latest?: A candy-themed “Licorice” (or “Liquorice” if you follow the British spelling) proposition.
Akin to the model’s recent “Food Fight” release, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in wild, eye-catching details. Breathable mesh bases opt for a subdued monochromatic makeup, while the high-quality suede that appears around the forefoot, across the mid-foot and throughout the heel deviate in vibrantly-colored and patterned looks. Inspired by the various shades in which licorice can appear, golden yellow, punchy pink and hypnotizing black-and-white print animate the Saucony sneakers’ top-half. Down below, the tried-and-proven PWRRUN midsole goes “colorless,” while the performance-informed outsole boasts the same two-tone pattern that appears on the profile logos.
