Jovani Hernandez Ahead of Spring 2022, Nike Sportswear has been gradually teased handfuls of iconic silhouettes under the “Air Sprung” umbrella. The latest?: The fashion-forward, women’s-exclusive Nike Blazer Low Platform.
Already boasting other classic designs like the Air Force 1, the spring-ready capsule applies a light yellow makeover to the modern-day take on the first-ever Nike Basketball sneaker. A mix of tumbled leather and nylon take over the upper, with the former material landing at the forefoot, profile and heel. On-theme graphics enter the mix as patches towards the rear of the Blazer Low, while others are printed onto the sock-liners. Underfoot, exaggerated sole units forgo any “Air Sprung”-related detailing, opting instead for an off-white styling that allow’s its counterparts up top revel in the spotlight.
