Though unfortunate, Jordan Brand’s most beloved releases rarely ever return true-to-form. The AJ12 “Royalty,” for example, was only a few additions shy of a “Taxi” Retro, which garnered a somewhat negative response across social media. And it’s possible — depending on whether you golf or don’t — that you’ll grow even more displeased as the colorway finally returns via the Air Jordan 12 Low Golf.
Revealed by professional golfer Pat Perez, the pair is a more faithful interpretation of the original scheme. The quilted side and reptile-like mudguard are colored white and black, respectively, newly applied to the low-top form. Every detail atop the sole and lace unit are similarly monochrome, including the “JUMPMAN” tab and embroidered branding which were gilded for the “Royalty.”
Enjoy a first look at the silhouette’s “Taxi” impression below. As of right now, a release date is TBD, but it’s possible we’re hear further word later in 2022.
Don’t golf? Well, the Air Jordan 1 Patent Bred releases later this week.
