Jordan silhouettes outside of the main line-up often have to rely on references to garner any attention. Here, the Jordan Air NFH does just that; but rather than copy beloved colorways and blocking, the shoe is paying homage to one of Michael Jordan’s alma maters, Laney High School.
The scheme itself is quite simple, relying on the school’s signature colors only in seldom. Bright yellow marks the midsole only, sharing space with the a bright blue, which also sees use across the upper’s branding and contrasting stitching. Elsewhere, the rest of the construction is made up of neutrals, dressing suede, mesh, TPU in the like in either off-white or true white finishes.
