Nike has retread past glories many a time in the past few years, bringing back everything from the Air Tuned Max to the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2. And this year, the brand is teaming up with Yoon Ahn and AMBUSH to bring about the return of yet another forgotten classic: the Air Adjust Force.
During a visit to the Nike HQ last year, Ahn was seen wearing a black colorway of the silhouette. Images of her collaborative make surfaced not long thereafter, showcasing the shoe’s removable harness and implementation of Grind rubber. And unlike the label’s Air Max 180 from 2019, the core construction appears true to the original, albeit with a slightly sleeker shape and the inclusion of co-branding.
Earlier this past weekend, the AMBUSH head unveiled another iteration of her Air Adjust Force, this pair clad primarily in white. Black hits add contrast to the sole, appliques, and tongue, while a subtle touch of silver casts the Swoosh along the detachable harness. Unlike its counterpart, the upper is entirely bereft of color, preferring a more monochromatic style.
