Jovani Hernandez Over the last year, the Nike Sportswear family has delivered a handful of styles inspired by a fictional superhero tale titled “The Mighty Swooshers.” Recently, the women’s-exclusive Nike Blazer Jumbo Low crash-landed in the aforementioned theme.
Akin to the model’s most iconic color combination, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a “White” and “Black” duo across the base layer and profile swooshes. Accents at the tip of the toe, along the tongue and across the heel deviate from the “plain” aforementioned details, making reference to the Mighty Swooshers squad that Nike has relied on to save the world: mismatched panels and action-related illustrations nod to the fictional superheroes. The gang’s name is printed onto the sock-liner, replacing traditional Nike Blazer branding, while exaggerated sole units underfoot opt for an unassuming, slightly-yellowed aesthetic.
