As the Nike Dunk Low continues to gain popularity, the mid-1980s design keeps revisiting the drawing board to find new looks for a wider audience. Over the last year and a half, the late Peter Moore’s iconic design has delivered women an experimental, fashion-forward take in the form of the Disrupt 2 iteration.
Smooth leather makes up the entirety of the silhouette’s upper, with rich tan taking over everything from toe box to collar area. Akin to other Nike Sportswear offerings that’ve popped up since sacai‘s stacked aesthetic entered the sneaker zeitgeist in 2019, the women’s Dunk Low Disrupt 2 features dual lace guards, swooshes and structural components around the heel for a bold look. Underfoot, sole units offer the most familiar setup of the latest Nike Dunks, though the speckled midsole denotes the sneakers’ partly-recycled construction.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch before 2022 ends.
