The Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary has been boastful to say the least, exploring a multitude of disparate propositions from its wide-ranging roster each week. After extending a collection of silhouettes centered around the brand’s own 50-year celebration, the retooled Nike AF1 React is now imploring an unofficial Breast Cancer Awareness Month scheme.
The dual-cushioned silhouette explores a tried-and-true white and black pairing as the colorless hue dominates the forefoot’s crisp leathers and quarter overlay whereas the latter half of the model renders a transparent TPU textile. Underneath, black mesh outfits the heel collar and ankle trim with further pitch-dark color blocking bearing the embroidered embellishments up front and the shadowed midfoot Swoosh. Breaking up the muted palette, “Hot Pinks” emanate from the polka-dotted pull tabs and React foam inserted in the semi-translucent heel and throughout the tread while “Nike Air” embroidery concludes the titular bubblegum shade along the back tab.

In other news, the Air Jordan 4 “Canyon Purple” arrives this Saturday, October 15th.
