Nike has made it a tradition to celebrate several of the most important events and tournaments in basketball, from All-Star Weekend to NY vs NY. Even Beijing’s Sunset Dongdan has caught the attention of the Swoosh — specifically, Jordan Brand — as they’ve ushered in a number of colorways inspired by what takes place on the “Holy Land” of Chinese streetball.
This continues in 2023 with the Air Jordan 37 Low “Dongdan,” which was just revealed for the first time earlier today. While the general approach is the same as past offerings, such as the Air Jordan 6 from two years ago, the pair does do away with the gradient of its predecessors. Instead, the overlays are clad in a single shade of purple, likely visualizing the night sky just a bit past sunset. Black is then lined underneath along the mesh inserts, lace unit, and collar, while the bottom incorporates many a bright tone: pink, orange, yellow, and even a hint of sky blue.
Enjoy an early look at the Air Jordan 37 Low “Dongdan” ahead. More details and photos are sure to surface very soon, possibly closer to the tournaments beginnings.
In other news, a detailed look at the Air Jordan 5 Tranformers sample was just revealed.
