After months upon months of rumors, adidas and Ye have finally come to an agreement. And following not long after word of the sub-label’s return, news of adidas Yeezy‘s upcoming June restocks and releases broke courtesy of the sportswear brand’s overseas channels. While headlined by many a familiar pair, the line-up also includes newcomers such as the previously-teased Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Carbon Beluga.”
Formerly referred to as the “Dark Beluga,” this upcoming 350 v2 continues a relatively long-running legacy. Following up the original “Beluga” from 2016 and the reflective variant from 2021, the “Carbon Beluga” was originally expected to release last year. But after the Three Stripes severed its ties to Ye, this pair as well as many others were effectively locked away in limbo, though that’s to change come later this Summer.
The design of the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Carbon Beluga” is heavily reminiscent of its predecessors, featuring the very same bright orange stripe. The pair’s Primeknit upper, though, is much darker than that of its counterparts, opting for a weave that borders between brown and grey. While previously-revealed photos have suggested that colorway would lean towards the latter, the upper in these newer, official images appear much more earth toned.
The Yeezy Boost 350 v2 “Carbon Beluga” is to be included amongst adidas Yeezy’s upcoming releases, which are expected to begin this June. Enjoy an official look at the offering here and stay tuned for further updates.
In the meantime, check out the rest of the adidas Yeezy June 2023 Releases.
