Available Now: Nike ACG Air Exploraid “Ash Green” and “Sail”

Updated March 5th, 2024: Both the “Ash Green” and “Sail” colorways of the Nike ACG Air Exploraid are available now from nike.com. See official purchase links below.

The following article was published in September 2023:

Nike continues to explore the depths of its timelessly iconic ACG catalog, bringing back classics from throughout the 1990s decade like the recently revealed ACG Air Torre Mid and the ACG Air Exploraid – both of which Sneaker News provided a first look at.

The latter model, first releasing back in 1999, will indeed be returning in 2024 in both the original “Ash Green” colorway, followed by a modern, off-the-trail version in “Light Orewood Brown”. The former is currently expected in February, while the latter is expected in March of next year.

The ACG Exploraid is remembered for its layered, protective construction over an interior neoprent bootie. The exterior netting on the midsole was a common sight for Nike’s trail-focused footwear, while the ACG logo at the heel reflects the final phases of the sub-label before it was revived in the mid-2010s under the direction of Acronym’s Errolson Hugh.

Enjoy a first look at the 2024 retro below, and stay tuned for further release details.
