“Light Pumice” And Chrome Accents Dot The Nike Cortez

Expected for a Summer release.

“Light Pumice” And Chrome Accents Dot The Nike Cortez

The Nike Cortez rolls on, inarguable in its appeal as a low-key, lifestyle staple shoe. As we near the start of summer in earnest, the silhouette is cooling down to counteract the change of seasons, dressing in a chilly mix of “Light Pumice” and “Metallic Silver.”

The “Light Pumice” accents that set the foundation here are deployed in typical fashion, darker on the mesh underpinning then tinted a bit up on the suede overlays. Choosing that steely blue shade ends up being a perfect complementary tone for the reflective “Metallic Silver” hues on the Swoosh and heel cup. An off-white midsole appears again here to round out this shoe, a detail that only debuted on the silhouette in the last handful of drops.

As a GR edition, the Nike Cortez “Light Pumice” will likely hit Nike.com and local retailers in the coming weeks. Anticipate a $90 retail price when this shoe materializes.
