The Nike ACG Torre Mid Surfaces In “Light Pumice”

Contrasting blue shades evoke a twilight aesthetic.

The Nike ACG Torre Mid Surfaces In “Light Pumice”

Nike saw the “gorpcore” trend taking off and decided to show love to some long-archived Nike ACG hits throughout the course of 2024. We’ve seen cuts like the Rufus, Watercat, and Air Exploraid surface sporadically throughout the course of the year so far, and while maybe a bit under the radar, the Nike ACG Torre Mid has slowly but surely re-introduced itself to consumers. Several colorways have been released thus far, now joined by a clean “Light Pumice” pair marked for Fall 2024.

The titular hue appears on the Torre’s suede overlays here, while a twilight-like “Dark Raisin” shade hops on the shoe’s moisture-wicking mesh base, adding contrast. The official palette also makes mention of “Summit White” and “Aster Pink” treatments, but at least in this first set of official retailer images, the midsole, lining, and various branded elements all appear in black.

The Fall shopping season (which begins in July) might not stand out as the most sensible timeframe to release a utilitarian, winter-worthy hiking boot, but on the bright side, it means pairs could eventually go on sale provided they don’t sell out. Most Torre Mid colorways released in 2024 have been subject to markdowns in the weeks/months following their release.

In any case, enjoy official images of the Nike ACG Torre Mid “Light Pumice” ($150) below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to see more upcoming Nike ACG sneaker drops.
