Mail call for the NBA sneaker king.

PJ Tucker Reveals Nike Book 1 PEs Made For 2024 Playoffs

Basketball fans will be debating who the GOAT is until the end of time, but when it comes to who has the best shoe game in the NBA, there’s a clear-cut favorite. PJ Tucker has amassed a collection of over 5,000 pairs, including LeBron James shoes that are so insanely rare that LeBron himself didn’t even know they existed. Given his reputation, when it’s time for Nike craft player exclusives, Tucker’s name is often top of mind.

With a new NBA season about to begin, Tucker just shared images of two Nike Book 1 PEs he designed for last year’s playoffs (they arrived late). The shoes come in pastel pink and yellow, respectively, with what appears to subtle reptilian print on the overlays and toe box. This is far from the first Book 1 PE in Tucker’s collection; he broke out a mismatched “Texas vs Kentucky” pair as well as a Clippers-friendly red PE last season, stoking energy around Book’s first signature as it made its rollout.

As player editions, PJ Tucker’s Book 1s will not release publicly in any capacity. Enjoy detailed images of the shoes below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview upcoming Nike Basketball shoes you can actually get your hands on.
