Nike Elevates The Air Force 1 With Suede Tassels

With a new Nike CEO poised to take over in the near future, it’s only a matter of time before the Beaverton brand follows through on its promise of tackling oversaturation with less Air Force 1 releases. As of right now, the Bruce Kilgore classic is still one of the most mass-produced shoes in the Nike catalog. However, we’ve seen an uptick in new pairs that assert uniqueness through one or more defining features, this latest women’s delivery case in point.

Taking after a men’s AF1 from earlier this year, the design speaks to western Americana aesthetics through a variety of special touches. Eyes are first drawn to the tongue, which features a suede tassel akin to what you might find on cowboy boots and the like. The lining and tongue are comprised of “Pink Oxford” leather, the latter of which comes with debossed branding, while the backtab delivers bold, intricately stitched “NIKE” branding and visible stitching. Otherwise, the top half is complete with a balanced “Light Bone” and “Sail” leather mix.

Currently, the women’s Air Force 1 Tassels is expected to release Holiday 2024 for $120. Scroll through the official image gallery below before deciding whether or not to cop.
