Converse Announces Partnership With Charli XCX

It's about to be a BRAT winter.

Converse Announces Partnership With Charli XCX

Converse’s growing camp of creative partners has just added one of the most dynamic, trend-setting artists on the scene — the one and only Charli XCX.

The Grammy-nominated artist that first got her start by being noticed for her music on Myspace, the English Charlie Emma Atchinson rose to fame over the last 15+ years culminating in her critically acclaimed album Brat that launched in February of this year. This led to a massive social media and lifestyle trend known as Brat Summer that swept through Gen Z while informing a lot of marketing campaigns focused on targeting that demographic.

This partnership has its roots in genuine appeal. “I wear my Chucks so much they have holes in them, so I was really excited to work with Converse so I could get a new pair. They’re iconic.”

While a release hasn’t been announced yet, it is likely that Charli XCX has some projects with Converse in the future, either in the form of a true collaboration or a Converse By You selection of design options similar to what just recently launched in partnership with Billie Eilish.

Charli XCX joins Tyler, The Creator, Billie Eilish, pgLang, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Rick Owens, and several others in the brand’s impressive roster of creatives and artists.
