The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Keeps Cool With “Light Orewood Brown”

At this point, we likely don’t need to espouse the strengths of the Vomero 5 anymore, decidedly having capped off its pivot from forgotten running model to dominant footwear force. However, while you’re likely most familiar with vibrant fare from the model, Nike clearly has a soft spot for neutral editions of the Vomero.

You can see that plainly with the colorway at hand, sporting “Light Orewood Brown” as its primary hue while additionally shifting the overlays its overtakes into suede. To be sure, there’s still plenty of Y2K flair present in this design, chiefly with the steely mesh underlays and the shimmering “Metallic Platinum” heel cage. All told, it’s a sensible middle ground option between everyday style and the turn-of-the-century aesthetics the silhouette rode in on, especially applicable for the Fall season ahead.

However, you won’t need to wait that long to get your hands on this shoe. The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Light Orewood Brown” is already up for grabs on Nike.com, retailing for $170. Grab yours using the links below and keep our Sneaker Release Dates page in mind for updates on other upcoming product.
