“Artic Punch” may be the color of the season. As Spring continues to come forward, Nike is making good use of the color, applying it not only to a PS Air Jordan 8 but also a new Air Force 1 Shadow.
Beloved by its intended audience, the Shadow strikes a solid balance between traditional and contemporary. While it draws inspiration from the classic AF1, it stretches more into its own territory, morphing fixtures like the Swoosh, overlays, and even the sole. These touches come together once again as the weather begins to warm as the pair’s fixtures celebrate the flowers at bloom with bright, pastel color. “Arctic Punch” covers quite a bit of the tumbled leathers, while louder “Crimson Tint” panels dress underneath. The Swoosh, which sits adjacent to a number of “Barely Volt” accents, then finishes in a light tan like the toe cap’s secondary layer.
