For their next collaboration, END. and adidas Originals are paying homage to German motorsport engineering with two pairs of the Continental 80.
A follow-up to a limited-to-300-pairs adidas Forum, the forthcoming duo draws inspiration from two products of racing’s “golden age”. Tumbled leather uppers appear on both options, but only the off-white-colored style features premium, plush suede overlays around the forefoot. Profile 3-Stripes and adidas-branding on the tongue indulge in era-appropriate, retro charm (also recreated via campaign imagery); END.’s logo is debossed onto the top-heel panel. Remaining components maintain a standard layout, although they’ve been assembled in Germany following the highest standards of quality and craft. To further nod to the collaboration’s exclusivity, each colorway has been limited to just 500 pairs, with “[X]/500” printed onto the lateral heel.
Enjoy images of the latest joint-effort between a British and German institution here below, and expect pairs to release via END. Launches on March 27th.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, new Yeezys are set to hit retailers before March ends.
