ZX is back in the spotlight over at adidas. And while they’ve spent quite a bit of this past year fostering old series heroes, the Three Stripes will soon look back on newer flagships like the ZX 10000.
A successor to the ZX 1000 in name and design, the silhouette culminates years’ worth of history into a kit that lands right in the middle of retro and contemporary. Here, it produces a colorway that’s not distracted by a second name or playful concept. The scheme quite simply dresses with the “Grey Two” shade, applying it to the suede, mesh, and TPU fixtures scattered about the upper. The lower side, then, adds a bit more texture with its thinner mesh, partially veiling a set of two-toned stripes. Elsewhere, at both the laces and sole, neon touches round off the look with bright green and orange, respectively.
