Over the last year, adidas‘ A-ZX series has delivered over 20 pairs in collaboration from influential figures and institutions from around the globe. Having already flexed its creative muscle, the National Parks Foundation has prepped an adidas ZX 10.000C inspired by Crater Lake National Park.
Akin to a previous pair commemorating Joshua Tree, the forthcoming take on the Three Stripes’ newer ZX trainer indulges in a color palette directly derived from the Oregonian landmark. Shades of “Collegiate Navy” and “Dark Marine” resemble the crater lake and its surrounding pine trees. “Crystal White” and salmon-reminiscent pink round out the shoe’s color combination. Standard adidas branding on the tongue is replaced with a souvenir patch-of-sorts depicting a graphic of Crater Lake National Park.
An official adidas.com release date is unknown, but this ZX 10.000C is currently scheduled to drop at select shops in Europe on May 22nd. In any case, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
