Nike’s venture into eco-conscious footwear has resulted in a long ever-growing roster of styles that incorporate the brand’s sustainable materials innovations. Adding to the list is yet another Air Force 1 that sees bold accents and Grind rubber—a material composed of recycled plastics and other items.
The pair emerges just after a black and Volt coloring on a similar Nike AF1 had been revealed. It sees a white pebble leather base that is obstructed by side Swooshes in a vibrant crimson. This bright red-orange is also applied to the branding on the tongue label and the AIR logo and stripe on the midsole. Furthermore, slight hits of crimson are used in the abstract grey and white pattern that covers the inside. As for the presence of Grind rubber, the speckled material makes its way onto both the heel tab and outsole to complete the sustainable style.
Take a closer look at the Air Force 1 below, which will hit Nike.com in the coming months for a price of $110.
