The Nike Blazer Mid is effectively the poster boy of the “Move to Zero” initiative, leading the charge for the brand’s many collections. Here, it ushers in yet another sustainable make, its look a rather simple far cry from the “Crater” and “Toasty” creations before it.
Dubbed the Blazer Mid ’77 “Next Nature,” the model stays relatively true to the original. In shape and material, nothing seems out of the ordinary, though its likely the upper is built of FlyLeather or a similar composition. The suede of the toe cap and forefoot, in contrast, seem a bit less textured and more synthetic; the sole, in tandem, also signals the use of recycled scraps with its contrast splatter.
If not for the circular design logo on the insole, one would think these are an ordinary release. And if that subtlety is more up your alley, look out for the upcoming Nike.com release.
In other news, the Bad Bunny Forum Buckle Low Core Black is dropping soon.
