“Energy Red” Energizes The New Balance KAWHI

From his humble roots in Moreno Valley to his love for Jolly Ranchers, Kawhi Leonard has been channeling much of his personal tastes and experiences on his New Balance KAWHI signature shoe, leading to vibrant on-court styles. The fun continues with a new arrangement that pairs “Energy Red” with “Newport Blue” for an explosive look.

A mix of suedes and mesh in a vivid “Energy Red” constructs the base. On the sides, panels of a braided embroidery design exhibit a warm-toned gradient to further fuel the fun of the design. Down the tongue is where the Clippers player proudly boasts ownership of the model, starting with “KAWHI” emblazoned on the top of the tongue. His achievements of being a two-time NBA Champion and NBA Finals MVP are also listed on the tongue, along with his jersey number near the toe. As with the KAWHI and NB branding on the tongue and heel, decals and overlays on the toe contrast the red body by opting for an equally bright “Newport Blue” hue. The blue also covers the entirety of the Fuel Cell-infused sole unit to complete yet another impressive arrangement for the KAWHI line.
