Nike is constantly in a state of restlessness, itching to evolve their most iconic silhouettes further and further until they’re not recognizable at all. Here, the Air Force 1 Utility 2.0 leans quite close to that goal as most of its fixtures — sole, primarily — are comprehensively modified.
Part of what will likely be a large debut, the colorway offers a more interesting look relative to its white-colored counterpart. Throughout the upper, a “Arctic Pink” shade, which appears almost tan in certain lighting conditions, dresses widespread, coloring the Swoosh just as it does the tumbled leather overlays, straps, and the like. The metallic buckle, on the other hand, contrasts in a standard silver metallic, while the sole deviates by a similar intensity with its gum bottom.
