The Nike Air Force 1 Low has come a long way from its basketball roots. From non-functional multi-layers to platform bottoms, Bruce Kilgore’s made-for-sport design has found a comfortable spot within the fashion segment. And for its latest proposition, the model doubles-down on this “new” identity, as it couples a simple “Black/White” color scheme with silver charm bracelets.
Touted as a women’s-exclusive, the newly-surfaced pair serves as the complement to a previously-seen all-“White” option donning the same accessories. Smooth leather covers the entirety of the low-top Air Force 1’s upper, with the aforementioned shimmering jewelry arriving at the lateral heel. The bracelet hangs from the top-most eyelet to a non-standard loop attached to the top heel overlay; its charms include Nike branding, a sneaker box and basketball-related icons. Lining on the collar opts for a fleece material sure to deliver more warmth and comfort than standard iterations of Kilgore’s 38-year-old design. Underfoot, the women’s offering maintains a “colorless” look.
An official Nike.com release date hasn’t been confirmed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In any case, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
