The Nike Air Max 97 is expected to release in its original “Silver Bullet” makeup as part of its 25th anniversary celebration, but it’s also been prepped in non-OG, but compelling styles for 2022. Case in point?: A newly-surfaced pink and white ensemble made in part with recycled materials.
Presumably a women’s-exclusive, the upcoming sneakers, don a light rose tone across its mesh and synthetic leather upper. Mudguards and vamp overlays don the darkest shades of the mix, but don’t detract from the pair’s general look. Detailing on the tongue and pull tabs at the tongue and heel follow suit, though the swoosh logos and other branding hits nearby deviate in a white tone. Sole units underfoot keep things similarly simple, with Air Max bubbles even sporting a cream hue. As indicated by the swoosh wheel graphic on the sock-liner, part of the foam and rubber compounds found underfoot consist of up-cycled materials, akin to other Next Nature propositions from the brand.
Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm Nike.com release details.
