Jordan Brand Unveils Three New Air Jordan 36 Colorways Designed By Kids In Partnership With NFL

Over the course of its history, Jordan Brand has committed time and resources toward the betterment of communities that’d otherwise miss out on education, job opportunities and other things. In 2021, Michel Jordan’s eponymous label partnered with the National Football League (NFL) in order to provide six kids from the Fuel Up To Play 60 program an opportunity to design their own Air Jordan 36 alongside three Jordan Brand-sponsored NFL athletes.

Davante Adams, Stephon Gilmore and Cameron Jordan met with two kids each over the course of a few months to ideate and design shoes via Zoom. The end products will be worn by athletes throughout 2022. While the first initiative with the NFL, Jordan Brand has granted children the opportunity to design their own Air Jordan before through the Jordan Wings program. Fuel Up To Play 60’s six participants, then, are the first to re-imagine shoes from #23’s label outside of the chosen Wings Scholars, expanding the audience to which designers and other personnel from the brand can mentor and provide insight.

Enjoy some images of the sneakers and designers ahead, and anticipate Jordan Brand-sponsored athletes to rock the pairs throughout the remainder of the year.
