As NIKE, Inc. continues to innovate on the front of sustainability, the Oregon-based company is thinking “outside of the box.” One of the latest examples of the company’s obsession with “better” is the Nike ISPA Link, a fully-recyclable model that can be disassembled.
Informed by the elements of circular design, Nike ISPA‘s most recent proposition both sources eco-friendly materials for its build – which only takes an impressive eight minutes – and allows for the pair to be completely recycled when it reaches the “end” of its life. An upcoming “Desert Moss” and “Barley”-colored style promotes the “Improvise; Scavenge; Protect; Adapt” design ethos of Nike Sportswear’s subcategory responsible for the Link with its boundary-pushing upper, sole unit and the fact that every component can be disassembled.
Enjoy official images of the “Barley” offering ahead, and find the shoes available via Nike SNKRS on Wednesday, June 22nd, for $225 USD.
