The Nike Air Force 1 isn’t just enjoying its 40th anniversary, its relishing in a bulk supply of full family sizes and styles casting both modern and reminiscent aesthetics atop Bruce Kilgore’s timeless 1982 design. Joining this weeks slate of the basketball-inspired silhouette is a striking Air Force 1 Low.
The pictured grade school model leads with an underlying black base and a mix nylon structuring while the remaining leather panels of the upper – including the quarter overlay, mudguard and heel counter – bear a deep “Royal Blue” tone. The identically colored outsole is impeded by a white rubber midsole fit with volt “AIR” branding that introduces the final accenting shade. Additionally interrupting the relatively cool composition of the offering, the neon green variation coats the Swoosh and metal “AF1” lace lock alongside both the tongues and back tabs “NIKE AIR” logo.
