The mid-top counterpart of the silhouette celebrating its 40th anniversary has arguably received the most shine from The Swoosh this year after dawning a handful of Off-White renditions while remixing the models extensively cataloged history. The latest offering plays it simple with the color palette while reconstructing the upper for a modernized, stitched together aesthetic for the Nike Air Force 1 Mid.
Utilizing a reassembled styling for the brand’s silhouettes has never been more present than during the Air Force 1’s celebratory year, seeing the entirety of the fresh snow white upper feature vertical and horizontal stitching for a collection of pieced together panels. Sitting atop an aged “Sail” midsole and tread, the only additional touch of color is placed through the crimson “NIKE AIR” tongue branding and back tab thread-work that come undone on opposite ends. The formers construction is split down the middle including the rear black logo and interior tongue text, complimenting the unfinished product while the classic Hike Nike Man bears the insoles in a shade of metallic silver.
While release details haven’t been shared by the brand just yet, enjoy official images of the Air Force 1 Mid “Patchwork” as we anticipate further information being made available within the following weeks.
Furthering its commemoration, a women’s exclusive ruby colored Air Force 1 High is additionally in the works.
