Since its reintroduction to the market in 2020, New Balance has incessantly churned out offerings of its 1980’s-inspired runner turned silhouette. From the pre-worn aesthetic of the Protection Pack to numerous Gore-Tex covered propositions, the in-line colorways continue to run a muck with a milk chocolate bar shading being applied to the latest 2002R.
Sampling a quartet of tones across the model, a cream mesh construction presides underneath dark grey overlays and eyelets while the remaining real estate employs a warm Chocolate Brown hue across its smooth suede panels of the mudguard, midfoot, quarter overlay and perforated heel counter. The upper tab, inner lining and tongue are additionally color-matched furthering the coco ensemble while the laces and white “N” logos trim profer the established ivory shade. Underfoot the N-ERGY branded midsole comes clad in the latter neutral tincture with light grey accents and a concurring black tread.
