Lace toggles are in full swing this fall season as The Swoosh enlists its tug-to-tighten bungee cord system across a multitude of its lifestyle centric silhouettes. Most recently employed along the Air Max 97, the retooled Tuned Air proposition for the future of footwear is additionally anchored by the latter pull tab.
Coated in a jet-black shade proffering dashes of silver metallic accents, the Air Max Plus’ bungee fasteners of the forefoot act as the tonal spectrum’s inspiration, treating its mesh black base with silver TPU overlays. The aforementioned alloy additionally renders across the model’s ballistic mesh midfoot panel and heel counter adorned with Tuned Air branding. Underfoot, the two-tone color palette is extended for a clad “Sail” midsole – identical to its Air Max 97 counterpart – whereas faded light blues fill the Air Max sole unit and various Swoosh insignias laying claim to the tongue tabs and insoles, concluding the monochrome outfit.
While we sit tight on the pair’s release date, enjoy official images of the Air Max Plus Lace Toggle “Silver Metallic” below in the meantime.
In other news from the Beaverton-based brand, Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” Air Force 1’s are expected to debut this holiday season.
