Across the 365 days of its 40th Anniversary, the Nike Air Force 1 crafted many an homage to past classics. The Air Command Force was among one of many — but two colorways were clearly not enough to satisfy the Swoosh, as they’ve just unveiled official images of a third, women’s exclusive sequel.
First released in 1991, and last Retro’d back in 2016, the Air Command Force is seeing yet another spiritual successor in this upcoming Air Force 1, which adds shades of “Gorge Green” to the catalog. Though lacking Air-Fit — the technology signature to the basketball model — the pair makes use of identical branding, with the “FORCE” logo stamped across both the shoe’s tongue as well as its right insole. The rest of the colorway, by comparison, is nowhere near as direct in its references, employing a relatively standard assembly of tumbled leathers and suede.

In unrelated news, the JJJJound BAPE STA is releasing tomorrow.
