Based out in China, sneaker boutique DEAL has played a role in several Reebok partnerships, lending a helping hand to the likes of Jeff Staple, PHANTACi, and NSC. And for the storefront’s next collaborative project, they’ll once again be joining the latter, this time to pay homage to the Ancient Tea Horse Road via the PUMA Suede and TRC Blaze.
Believed to be the first-ever iteration of the silhouette to feature tearaway uppers, the DEAL x NSC x PUMA Suede is deceptively understated at first glance. From the outset, the shoe is dressed in a light yellow hue throughout much of its construction, which is predominantly comprised of a synthetic, grid-textured material. Upon wear — self-inflicted or otherwise — the shoe will then reveal a map of the Tea Horse Road. The latter graphic also makes an appearance on the accompanying TRC Blaze, whose as-is assembly is made up of earth-toned suedes, hits of red and jade green, and embroidered characters that nod to the overarching theme.
Enjoy a closer look at the DEAL x NSC x PUMA collection ahead. Both pairs will be available through DEAL exclusively this April.
In other news, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 is making its debut later this week.
